“Come, follow me.” This is the invitation of Jesus—a call to a life in motion, where we continually take the next step in our faith journey. But, there’s often a temptation to slow our pace or, worse yet, to stall out altogether. We can find ourselves settling for the familiar and allowing comfort to prevent us from moving forward in our faith. Like Moses and the Israelites during the Exodus, we encounter moments when the path ahead seems uncertain, and stepping out in faith feels overwhelming, if not impossible. What should we do when we stand on the edge of the unknown, unsure of what comes next? Will we play it safe, or will we trust God and follow Him into the uncharted?
